J4C FLUSH AND SAVE PROGRAM
WaterSense Labeled Toilets

Toilets are the biggest water consuming products in the home.  The older toilets use approximately 4.5 gallons per flush.  The more recent toilets use 1.6 gallons per flush. Last year, the EPA endorsed and labeled the new WaterSense toilets that only use 1.28 gallons of water per flush and have a high performance rating.

The J4C Flush and Save Program’s mission is to help motivate the public to change over their older high water consuming toilets to the new WaterSense (1.28 gallons per flush) toilets and help save our community’s diminishing water supply.

In cooperation with the James City Service Authority’s Water Conservation Rebate Program, which gives a $75.00 refund to qualifying applications, we have asked plumbing suppliers and plumbers to give additional discounts on the product and installation.

Ferguson Enterprises has agreed to give a 20% discount to consumers on the purchase of listed WaterSense toilets.

Local participating plumbers will honor a $25.00 discount coupon for installation of the WateSense toilets.

  • Boswell Plumbing and Heating – 229-4890

  • Joe Palentino Plumbing – 259-7352

  • Haynes Drains and Plumbing – 592-0164

All the above local plumbing businesses who are participating in the program and will honor a $25.00 discount coupon for installation of the WaterSense toilets. (Click here to print coupon)

All three rebates/discounts add up to a big savings for consumers and can make a huge contribution to saving our water supply.
